Garden Care Center Covid-19 Visitation Policy
Physical distancing will be maintained.
Physical contact is not allowed at this time.
Visits in resident rooms are allowed, physical distance should be maintained.
We prefer visits to happen in the main dining room on the first floor.
Only 1 family member per resident in the room. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or older.
Large gatherings should be avoided if physical distancing cannot be maintained.
Visitors must have face masks worn at all times.
Face masks must cover both mouth and nose at all times.
Staff will be present to help with transition of residents, and monitor visitation.
Guests must be screened for
• Signs and symptoms of Covid
• Questioned if they have travelled outside of the State in the last 2 weeks.
• Present a verified negative Covid-19 test administered within the last 2 days.
• If yes to any of the questions above, Administration must be contacted to approve visitation.
If negative test is not presented at the door, the facility will provide you with a rapid test. If positive we cannot allow you to visit.
Visitors must adhere to all infection control practices within the facility.
Alcohol based hand sanitizer is provided to the families and the residents.
Residents that are covid positive and those quarantined in isolation are not eligible for visits.
If any visitor fails to adhere to the protocol, they will be prohibited from visiting for the duration of the COVID-19 state declared public health emergency.If rules are not followed, visitation in its entirety may be suspended.
